Compare the actual components
Check your processor, installed memory and graphics card separately. Having enough RAM does not compensate automatically for a graphics card below the listed reference. Laptop and desktop parts with similar names should not be assumed identical.
On Windows, open System Information to identify the processor and installed memory, and use Device Manager or the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to identify the display adapter. Compare the full model name rather than only “i5” or “GeForce.”
Check free space on the drive where Steam will install the game. Installed RAM and free disk space are different measurements. Leave room for the installation and future updates rather than treating the listed size as an exact final footprint.
A requirements table is not an FPS guarantee
The official specification does not pair every hardware combination with a target resolution and frame rate. We therefore do not translate “recommended” into an unsupported 60 FPS promise.
When following a player's settings video, compare their hardware and resolution with yours first. Change one option at a time and use a similar scene for comparison. That makes the result more useful than copying a long list without knowing what affected it.
What about Steam Deck or other platforms?
The official listing supplies Windows requirements. A player's successful run on another device would be a useful individual report, but it would not establish official support or the same performance for every player.
A Steam Deck community discussion asks this exact compatibility question. Check current reports and their settings before treating a workaround as reliable. We do not provide an unverified compatibility rating or recommend third-party installers.
If you are ready to start on a suitable PC, move to the first-match guide. It separates setup, practice and progression so you can check one thing at a time.
